TELANGANA

One of the newer states in India, Telangana was formerly a part of the Andhra Pradesh area, which is now its neighbour. It has 10 districts and shares parts of Hyderabad, the capital city, along with many other tourist destinations, including the striking Char Minar. Telangana sits in the Deccan, which is the south-central part of the Indian Peninsula, along with four other states to form the province of South India.
