The Royal Ruins are wonderful to explore! Rajasthan is where India's heart and soul are to be found. The lively, active, and traditional state of India has a lengthy history and a rich culture. Rajasthan's history predates that of the whole country of India. It is called the "Country of Kings" for a cause; it is a beautiful maharaja's realm, complete with its formidable forts and rich palaces. Its glorious past serves as a lesson in valour, honour, and chivalry. The Rajputs are notable for claiming to be descended from the sun, moon, and fire. According to mythology, they have ruled Rajasthan for a thousand years. It was difficult for the Mughal Empire to maintain control over this part of India. As a result, they gave up, and Rajasthan was governed by its kings up to the British Raj.
Rajasthan is home to everything you could possibly imagine, including the tough Thar Desert, the daring wild woodlands, camel safaris, views of tigers, sparkling jewels, traditional tasty cuisines, flamboyant art and vibrant culture, and well-known colourful fairs and festivals. At the magnificent fairs and festivals, you will get the opportunity to discover more about the Rajasthani people, art, culture, customs, and history. The two most well-known are the Pushkar fair and the Jaisalmer Desert Festival.
When a three-day performance is held on sand dunes, the desert comes to life with vibrant colours, traditional folk dance, and music, making January and February the best months to visit Jaisalmer. The enjoyable camel races, Mr. Desert competition, turban-tying competition, and acrobatics add a little spice to the celebrations. If you ride a camel while enjoying background music and a stunning sunset, the experience will be ecstatic.
The Pushkar fair is conducted in the months of October and November. In Rajasthan, it is common to celebrate with musical performances, cultural events, thrilling camel safaris, and camping at nearby campgrounds. Pushkar is home to the sole Brahma temple in the entire world. It is thought that swimming in the holy lake of Pushkar erases all of your sins. It's an amazing sight to see Rajasthani culture firsthand and observe the unusual rites. Animals, including cows, goats, sheep, camels, and other species, are the sole commodities traded at the fair. When the trade is finished, they dress the animals in exquisite decorations and outfits for public display.
It is worthwhile to explore Rajasthan's notable cities. The towering palaces, glittering bazaars, and hilltop forts of Jaipur, also known as the Pink City and the City of Triumph, are world-famous. At Udaipur, the City Palace and Lake Palace are must-see sights. Venice of the East, as the name suggests. Indeed, that does make sense. The region has a paradise-like appearance, much as in those enchanted fairytales. A must-see while in Udaipur is the Kumbhalgarh Fort, part of the Great Wall of India. The fort's huge wall is over 36 kilometres long and has enough width for eight horses to pass one another side by side. Some of the most breathtaking views may be seen around the fort.
Two magnificent sandstone cities, Jaisalmer and Bikaner, which seem to have emerged from an Arabian Nights fable, magically erupt from the Rajasthan Desert's sand dunes. The Blue City of Rajasthan, Jodhpur, is a place you should visit. When you observe Jodhpur from above from the enormous Mehrangarh Fort there, you'll understand that it actually is blue!
Ranthambore National Park is steeped in history as a result of the innumerable battles that have been fought there and the various rulers who have risen and fallen. One of India's best chances to witness a tiger in the wild is at Ranthambore. The locality is a lover of animals.
