Indian ancient cities: Beauty Revelation

Numerous historical metropolitan centers in India have seen the rise and fall of numerous civilizations throughout the course of their existence, and as a consequence, they have abandoned remains of the great golden times that they experienced. India is a nation that has a rich historical and cultural past, and it was previously home to many of these old urban centers in its heyday. The country is also known as the Land of the Temples. These urban centers are a testament to both the imagination and architectural talent of our predecessors, and they provide a complete show of both of these traits in their design and construction. It is generally agreed upon that Mohenjo-Daro was one of the first urban centers to form a component of the Indus Valley Civilization. Mohenjo-Daro can be located in what is now the province of Sindh in Pakistan. The ancient city that was described before started to take form about the year 2500 BCE, and it was defined by a variety of unique characteristics, such as a highly developed drainage system, thoroughfares that were methodically made, and residences that were built using burned bricks on many floors. Archaeological excavations have led to the discovery of intriguing artifacts that provide evidence of a highly developed social and economic framework.

The city of Harappa, which may be located in the state of Punjab in Pakistan, is recognized as an extra significant urban center within the context of the Indus Valley Civilization. The exceptional urban architecture of the Harappa civilization, which thrived from 2600 to 1900 BCE, was marked by a systematic grid arrangement. This was one of the culture's most significant contributions to urban planning. The city was organized using this grid as the basis. This urban design had residential structures that had been meticulously constructed to a high degree, as well as communal bathing facilities and grain storage facilities. Even though it has only been partly decoded, the script provides the sense that there was once a highly developed writing system. This is despite the fact that it has only been half deciphered.

The historical significance of the city of Varanasi, which is also referred to as Kashi and Banaras, cannot be overstated. It is one of the locations that has been continually inhabited for the greatest length of time, which adds to it having the title of being one of the oldest settlements in the world.
