It shares its borders with Myanmar to the east and south, as well as Bangladesh to the west. Mizoram has a total land area of 21,087 square kilometres. These highlands are home to a total of sixteen significant rivers, valleys, and other topographic features. River Tlawng, which flows across the state, is 185.15 km long, making it the longest river in the state.
